Impressions of Oregon, Part I

Day 136: north of Obsidian Limited Entry Area, Oregon

Oregon wakes slowly. She also puts herself to bed late. This is much more closely aligned to my natural rhythms. I have also fallen in step with hikers who prefer moving a little later.  I am feeling back in a groove that fits.

Oregon is soft. She is flexible. She undulates rather than dives. I am swimming through the smooth acceptance I have recently found.

Finally took the first step and made it to your blog! Really enjoy your photos, and your comments on Oregon. I’ve only been once, very short trip. It’s nice to see the nature.
